Trouble?

La Carmela de Boracay hotel looks good outside. It has a pool, restaurant and is beachfront at Station 2. I went to their website, and it still looks good. Then I decided to check out virtual tourist where travellers gave it horrible reviews. I do not have the patience to deal with hotel kinks, I really don't. Their website says cancellation is okay as long as it's 7 days prior to the arrival date so I decided I'm gonna have to cancel our reservation there and transfer to White House which is a bit more expensive but has been getting awesome reviews. This is a birthday celebration and I'm not going to let anything ruin it. They might give me trouble with the refund though, I hope not for their sake.

Boracay here we come!

It became official yesterday when I finally got our airline tickets, we're going to Boracay to celebrate my daughter and I's birthday! We're both so excited. Oh but it seems so far away - September 19 to 21, 3 days and 2 nights of paradise.

We just got back from Greenhills Shopping Centre, I bought a rubber ducky (it's a waterproof bag for those who don't know) at Stoked and bought my little one a non-inflatable like vest, it seems safer to me. I also bought an underwater camera for when we go snorkelling. I bought her a bottle last week so she can write something in to throw out to the open sea.

I think I'm now bankrupt, oh well! Boracay will be all worth it.
